What We Believe

We believe . . .

• In the inspiration and authority of the Bible, God's Holy and complete Word. 
• In God breathing out the Written Word in the original autographs by using holy men of old as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. These autographs were written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koine Greek.
• In God preserving His Written Word through the centuries through the thousands of copies and translations of His Written Word up to today.
• In the fundamentals of the Christian faith.
• In God being a Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  One God in Three Persons.
• In a six day creation by the Lord of all the universe.
• In marriage being between only a man and a woman.
• In the virgin birth and deity of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God.
• In Christ's substitutionary death, His burial and His resurrection--He paid for our sins by shedding His blood and has power to deliver us from sin.
• In the reality of eternal life with Christ for those who accept His free gift of salvation and eternal separation from Christ in the lake of fire for those who reject this free gift.
• In the imminent return of Jesus Christ in the clouds for the rapture for the church.
• In the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ at the end of the 7 year Tribulation to judge the nations and set up His millennial kingdom in Jerusalem, fulfilling all the promises that God made to Abraham and the nation of Israel.
• In the holiness of God and the obligation of each Christian to separate himself to Christ; with the Christian forsaking doctrinal compromise, sin and worldly living, and growing in Christ-likeness through regular Bible study and prayer.
• In each Christian seeking to use his or her talents to fulfill the Great Commission.
