About us:

Madison Baptist Church (MBC) was planted by Pastor Rodger Baker in 1979 in downtown Richmond, KY.   In 1989, MBC moved to its current location on 2945 Lexington Road in Richmond, KY.  Pastor Baker faithfully preaches the Word of God weekly from the pulpit of MBC.

In 2005, MBC asked Stephen Kerber to assist Pastor Baker.  Assistant Pastor Steve currently leads congregational singing at MBC and assists in the teaching and preaching responsibilities of the ministry.

MBC is an Independent, Fundamental, Christ-centered ministry. Edifying the body of Christ through the preaching and teaching of Scripture and the singing of Traditional Hymns (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Ephesians 4:12-16; 5:19). MBC preaches from the King James Translation of God's Word in its services.

MBC seeks to be a church living out Acts 2:42. "And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

For those who treasure the timeless hymns of faith, crave fellowship and worship with fellow believers in Christ, and yearn for the preaching and teaching of His Word, we warmly welcome you to our service this Sunday at 11 AM.
